We are a non profit making organisation, based in Quesada

We are a small group of people who work together as a team,  our main goal is to help as many of these poor animals that we can.

We have a shop in Quesada open six days a week. Hours 10am till 4:00pm Monday to Friday and 10:00am until 2:00pm on Saturdays. We also have a shop in Almoradi, near the square, Hours 10:00am until 2:00pm, most days.  We sell good quality second hand clothes, books, bedding and all sorts of bric a brac. Also Items of furniture mainly at the Almoradi branch. 

We are always in need of donations of the above items and can arrange for them to be picked up or if you prefer they can be dropped off at the stall or the shop.

We also need donations of blankets and towels etc. to help the dogs keep warm during the winter months.

We help people who wish to re home their dogs. We do this by advertising them on our website (go to Dogs for Re homing on the home page), We print posters and advertise them in the local press. It does take time to re home a dog and this usually cannot be done in a week, so please allow as much time as possible when asking us to help in this way.

Dogs that have been abandoned and rescued by us, are either fostered or taken into our care whilst being brought back to full health. We then try and find them a new home.

If a cat that is trapped and neutered is found to be ill, then we care for the cat until it is back to full health and then try to find the cat a home. Usually after being cared for the cats are no longer welcome back into the colony and have grown to trust people, so it is safer for them to be found a home.

We are always looking for volunteers to help us with the animals, also the shops, especially Almoradi shop which we are only able to open three days a week due to lack of volunteers

We have only been in existence since 30th September 2012. Our accounts are submitted to the Accountant each year and filed according to regulations.
